Twitter reaction to D-backs' No. 1 overall Draft selection of Dansby Swanson
There was plenty of excitement surrounding the Arizona Diamondbacks’ selection of Vanderbilt SS Dansby Swanson first overall in the 2015 MLB Draft. You’ve probably already seen the Vine of Swanson celebrating with his teammates surrounding him as he got the news.
There was also plenty of reaction on Twitter. Tigers pitcher David Price was particularly excited. Price had previously been the only other Vanderbilt player to be taken No.1 overall. The D-backs also dug up a photo of Swanson wearing a D-back cap. Seems like it was meant to be.
