Tigers rookie catcher James McCann has definitely held his own both offensively and defensively while filling in for the injured Alex Avila.
But on Wednesday night we saw McCann take his defensive efforts to the next level when he unleashed his super spidey sense.
In the fifth inning, Martin Maldonado hit a pop-up behind home plate into the netting in front of the stands. But that's what McCann's spidey sense kicked in and he leaped into the black web, catching the ball to end the inning.
