Cy Young winner Jake Arrieta crushed a tape-measure home run

On Sunday evening, Chicago Cubs ace Jake Arrieta turned some heads, particularly that of Arizona Diamondbacks righty Shelby Miller.

In the second inning, the reigning NL Cy Young winner absolutely crushed a Miller fastball into deep left-center field, over the 413 sign and into the stands for a homer that MLB.com's statcast projected traveled about 440 feet.

The two-run shot in a 7-3 Cubs win marked Arrieta's third career home run in 140 at-bats since he moved over from the American League in 2013.

Pitchers just aren't supposed to hit the ball that hard and that far, but then again Arrieta is more like a lumberjack who happens to be awesome at pitching.
