Asdrubal Cabrera hits dramatic game-winning home run, launches bat flip of the year

In what will go down as one of the most absurd regular season baseball games of the 2016 campaign, the New York Mets defeated the Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 9-8 after 11 innings of play.
Trailing by two headed to the bottom of the 9th, Mets shortstop Jose Reyes tied the game with a two-run home run.

In the bottom of the 10th, with the score tied 6-6, Mets pinch-hitter Lucas Duda launched a potential game-ending missle down the right field line that went foul by inches.

Duda eventually struck out, and the Phillies then took an 8-6 lead in the top half of the 11th.
The Mets were on the verge of suffering the most painful loss of the year -- only 24 hours after they set the bar in that category. That is until Asdrubal Cabrera stepped to the plate in the bottom half of the frame with two men on base, and what ensued was nothing short of euphoria for the Mets and their fans at Citi Field:
Cabrera not only completed the biggest hit of the Mets' season, he simultaneously accomplished the most vicious bat flip we've seen since Jose Bautista last year:
