Watch the incredible play that nearly saved Tennessee's perfect season
Tennessee has had a season full of spectacular comebacks, but in a year where the Vols seem to have the ability to come back from any deficit, they met their match Saturday in College Station. Tennessee lost in double-overtime to Texas A&M, 45-38.
While the loss was crippling, it did once again show Tennessee's resolve. The Vols trailed 28-7 at one point in the second half but rallied and forced overtime thanks to one of the most gutty plays you'll ever see.
Watch below as Texas A&M is up 35-28 and about to go in for the kill-shot score with under two minutes to go. Then, out of no where, defensive back Malik Foreman comes from behind to punch the ball out of Trayveon Williams hands and out of the end zone for a touchback.
That play allowed Tennessee to get the ball back, and they scored to force overtime. It's the perfect example of how hard Butch Jones' club plays until the final whistle.
And oh, by the way, the Vols can throw themselves right back into the playoff mix if they can somehow beat Alabama next week.
