In a day and age where college football teams look to minimize all forms of potential injury in practice, give the Gator coaches credit for coming up with this unique tackling drill:
The defensive backs get to learn to be more physical without hitting the ground or risk getting hurt from contact. But will defenders go down so easily in actual games? Most likely no, however the tradition of excellent DB play at Florida is above reproach at this point.
Keep hitting those doughnuts guys.
