Huskers DB Boaz Joseph cited for marijuana possession

There was a citation issued on April 16th for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia to current Nebraska defensive back Boaz Joseph and former player Ishmail Jackson.

According to the police report, Boaz Joseph was contacted and found to be in possession of a tin containing 3.3 g marijuana. He was also in possession of a marijuana grinder. Another student, Deandre Pippens and Joseph were both cited/released for Posssession of Marijuana less than 1 ounce and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Ishmail Jackson made headlines a couple years ago because he is Matt Damon's nephew left the team after the 2013 season. Joseph has been fighting for playing time but this is his second run-in with the law. He was cited for stealing bikes last season.

Mike Riley issued a brief statement: 

“Coach (Mike) Riley and athletics administration are aware of the incident," read a statement from a Nebraska spokesman. "We have no additional comment at this time.”
