All is well on the UCLA offensive line

There used to be a time when UCLA's offensive line was always the biggest question mark.

The Bruins patched together what they could up front, but the results were always the same: a battered UCLA quarterback who had little to no time to make full reads.

Then came Jim Mora four years ago and he brought along Super Bowl-winning lineman Adrian Klemm. The duo set out to beef up the offensive line, and four years later it's paid dividends. It's probably why despite injuries to the offensive line in San Bernardino, the O-Line is still a strength. Just ask Jerry Neuheisel.

"It's the best I have ever been around," said Neuheisel via the Los Angeles Times. "We have had a lot of moving parts over the years. To have a corps of guys who have game experience, as a quarterback, that's very comforting."

It's not just that there's considerable depth on the line and experience. It's a change in mental approach.

"We've developed into a physical, physical, very talented group," offensive lineman Caleb Benenoch said. "Coach Klemm has helped us reach our potential. A lot of guys go to college and they don't reach their potential."

They certainly have at UCLA.
