Bounces back with over 350 yards Allen completed 21 of 28 passes for 366 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 45-17 win over the Jets. He added three yards on two rushing attempts.

Impact After failing to lead his team into the end zone in last week's upset loss to Jacksonville, Allen didn't take long to end his touchdown drought, capping Buffalo's first drive with a 15-yard touchdown pass to third-string running back Matt Breida. He added a 12-yard touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs in the final minute of the first half to take a 17-3 lead into the halftime break, and it was all Bills after that, as they built up a 38-3 lead by the end of the third quarter. Allen set a new season high in passing yards while eclipsing 350 for the third time, and he has also tossed multiple touchdown passes in all but two games this season, so he'll remain a top-end fantasy option under center in Week 11 against the generous Colts secondary.

Disastrous outing Allen completed 31 of 47 pass attempts for 264 yards and two interceptions while running for 50 yards on five carries against Jacksonville on Sunday.

Impact It was a dysfunctional and utterly bizarre game in many ways, and Allen's fantasy output was probably the biggest shock among them as the Bills unthinkably lost 9-6 to the Jaguars. Perhaps playing without two starting offensive linemen helped bring about the struggles, and pressure was indeed a problem as the Jaguars sacked Allen four times while hitting him eight times. While a game this fluky isn't a fair representation of Allen in general, it's a brutal missed opportunity for his fantasy investors in a matchup where everything appeared favorable on paper. As much as it might be difficult for Allen's rattled fantasy managers to feel reassured after a game like this, Allen should bounce back against the Jets in Week 10.

Impact While the final score shows a 15-point margin of victory, the actual flow of the contest was that of a much tougher win. Buffalo managed to pull away late with 16 fourth-quarter points, with Allen contributing a 19-yard touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs early in the period. The star quarterback also helmed a time-consuming 14-play, 59-yard drive later in the quarter that culminated in a Tyler Bass 39-yard field goal that gave the Bills some all-important breathing room at 20-11 while also leaving Miami with just 3:33 on the clock. Allen's final numbers, which he padded with a seven-yard touchdown scamper to close things out with 1:07 remaining, were certainly fantasy-friendly enough, and he's now tossed multiple touchdown passes in six straight contests. Allen will look to continue his stellar run of play when the Bills host the Jaguars in Week 9.

Allen then hit Tommy Sweeney from one yard for his third score, after which he caught a reverse pass for a two-point conversion. Although Monday's narrow defeat will now send Allen into the Bills' bye week on a sour note, he's accounted for at least 350 total yards in three of his last four outings, producing 14 touchdowns over that span.
