The NFL's Week 2 is officially in the books, meaning that coaches around the league are either still digesting their team's performance from over the weekend or already looking ahead to Week 3. With the weekly pressers behind us, let's take a look at the most interesting quotes from around the coaching circuit.

Bills coach Rex Ryan, on his brother Rob
"I think my brother's done as good a job as anybody coaching in this league, so I think that's ... but I get it. That's always going to be [those questions] out there but, hey, it comes with the territory."
Considering Rob's defense is currently ranked 25th in the NFL, that's exactly the kind of evaluation that has Rex on the hot seat two games into the season.

Jets coach Todd Bowles, on his dietary customs as a player
"We had McDonald's every day for lunch.... Quarter-Pounder with cheese, apple pie, french fries. Every day."
Maybe Rob Ryan is trying to get fired so he can go work for the Jets.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien, on sleeping in his office to prepare for short week
"Do I look like I'm kidding? Do I look fresh as a daisy right now?"
Well, he certainly isn't as pleasant as a daisy, that's for sure.

Colts coach Jim Caldwell, on not playing well enough
"Obviously, we had our opportunities. We could have made this a little bit different ballgame, but we didn't play well enough. You don't play well enough, that's what happens."
He's a trustworthy source on this matter.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer, on Adrian Peterson's injury
“He might miss a week. I don’t know if he will or not. ... Whatever it was has calmed down now, so we’ll see.”
The injury may have calmed down, but Vikings fans have not. They're all still worried the team will somehow give up three first-round picks while trying to sign Trent Richardson.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera, on Luke Kuechly's health status
"Really? I don't, you know. … I mean, he got blocked, OK? I mean, let's try not to create something that's not there. To me, that's not there. He got hit in the shoulder pads from the side, OK? That, to me, we're trying to create something that's not there. I don't think that's a fair question."
This combative answer to how Kuechly was feeling was perfectly followed up with Rivera repeatedly failing to open a locked door.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians, on his team's 40-7 victory
“We can get a hell of a lot better. Communication was not very good in the beginning of the game — way too many mental errors, especially by a couple young players. … Because we should have had 50, you know? We left at least 100, 120 yards and two touchdowns out there just on mental errors by David Johnson.”
David Johnson still had 143 yards from scrimmage. Tough break for that guy.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher, on rookie QB Jared Goff's depth chart status
“I mean, when he’s under center, you’ll know, OK? So, keep asking it every week, if you want. Fine. You can ask it again, if you want.”
It turns out when you don't score a touchdown for two weeks, people get anxious to see that guy whose basket you put all your eggs in. Weird. In Fisher's defense, there's still 14 more games for Goff to contribute to the Rams' 7-9 season.

Pete Carroll, on practicing
“We always practice really hard around here. That’s something we’ve done for years, and we try to practice better than anybody else is practicing.”
Wait, I'm pretty sure this is a Donald Trump quote.
