About the 2026 DAYTONA 500
The annual Daytona 500 was held on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Tyler Reddick overtook Chase Elliott in the final moment to win the "Great American Race," earning Michael Jordan's NASCAR team its first victory at Daytona. After Reddick's move, Elliott wrecked along with numerous other cars at the top of the field. Ultimately, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished second and Joey Logano took third place. Over 23 different drivers led the race, a Daytona 500 record.
