Impact Green made his return to action against UTEP after missing Sam Houston's previous two contests due to an undisclosed injury. The 5-foot-11 running back was held in check throughout the day, carrying the ball five times for just six yards while failing to catch his only target. His next chance will come when the Bearkats travel to face Louisiana Tech next Friday.

Hahsaun Wilson - Logs one snap Wilson (undisclosed) was held to a single snap during UTEP's 35-17 victory over Sam Houston on Wednesday.

Impact Wilson has seen his production tumble over recent weeks but was a complete non-factor agaisnt the Bearkats, playing just a single snap without a rushing attempt. The 5-foot-11 running back may be dealing with an undisclosed injury but details are thus far unknown. He will remain questionable for next week's matchup against Kennesaw State.

Malik Phillips - Catches TD Phillips caught two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown against UTEP on Wednesday.

Impact This is Phillips' first touchdown of the season. However, he was targeted six times in this game and ended up with 26 yards receiving. A lot of that is on the quarterback play for the Bearkats, which has been an issue.

Alton McCaskill - Rushes for over 50 yards McCaskill ran 11 times for 52 yards and had two catches for 15 yards Wednesday versus UTEP.

Impact McCaskill competes with carries with Landan Brown (and Elijah Green on the occasions he is healthy enough). However, McCaskill is the one who, whenever healthy, has gotten double-digit carries in every game.

Coco Brown - Rushes for over 100 yards Brown ran 13 times for 110 yards and had six catches for 39 yards against UTEP on Wednesday. He also lost a fumble.

Impact Brown broke off a 63-yard run, which helped him get over 100 yards for the first time. This was his first fumble, so that seems fluky, but the receptions are not fluky. Brown has 29 catches on the season.

Mabrey Mettauer - Throws touchdown in relief Mettauer went 4-for-8 for 38 yards and a touchdown against UTEP on Wednesday.

Impact Mettauer stepped in for an injured Hunter Watson, who left the game in the first game. Landyn Locke, a true freshman, also saw some time under center. The Bearkats have a bye week coming up, but if Watson isn't ready to return it will be interesting to see who gets the start. Mettauer probably has the edge.
