Stefan Cobbs - Notches first TD of 2022 Cobbs totaled 33 receiving yards and one touchdown on three receptions Saturday as the Broncos cruised past the Skyhawks 30-7.
Impact Cobbs was third on the team in receiving yards Saturday, but he was one of two players to log a receiving touchdown. After not having any receiving yards in teh previous game against New Mexico, the matchup with the Skyhawks will hopefully serve as a way for Cobbs to get back on track and perform well in the next game against UTEP on Friday.

LaTrell Caples - Leads Broncos in receiving yards Caples had four receptions for 48 yards Saturday as the Broncos defeated the Skyhawks 30-7.
Impact Caples totaled 23 yards and 22 yards in each of the first two games of the season, but he came out with a different intensity against the Skyhawks. The receiver had more yards Saturday than he had in the first two games combined and ended up being the leading Broncos receiver.

Hank Bachmeier finds George Holani on a four-yard TD to give Boise St. a 20-7 lead

George Holani - Carries Broncos' offense Holani rushed for 110 yards for one touchdown on 24 carries and added 47 receiving yards and another touchdown Saturday as the Broncos beat Tennessee-Martin 30-7.
Impact Holani was a star rusher and receiver for the Broncos on Saturday, leading the team with 110 rushing yards and being one away from the leading receiver with 47 yards. Coach Andy Avalos wanted to get Holani the ball as much as possible, and this was certainly accomplished. He is one of their best players and his contributions will be needed Friday as Boise State takes on UTEP.

Hank Bachmeier - 200 yard showing Bachmeier went 18-for-25 throwing 204 yards for two touchdowns Saturday as Boise State defeated Tennessee-Martin 30-7.
Impact Boise State's defense showed up in a big way for the Broncos on Saturday and Bachmeier made sure to recognize their work with an impressive offensive showing. In 2021, Bachmeier threw for over 200 yards in 10 of the 12 games he appeared in, but Saturday's game marked his first 200-plus yard outing of the season. The Broncos are still missing the presence of Khalil Shakir who went pro last year, but they will have to find a way to continue this type of success offensively. It is of note that Bachmeier left the fourth quarter on a roughing the passer penalty, but he should return for Friday's matchup with UTEP.

Riley Smith - Won't play Saturday Smith is out for Saturday's game against UT Martin due to an undisclosed injury, Jordan Kaye of the Idaho Press reports.
Impact Smith has hauled in four catches in each of his first two games this season, however, that has only resulted in 39 yards. It's unclear what's holding him out of Saturday's action, as Tyneil Hopper is the likely candidate to fill in for him on the field.
