Ben Ford - Trending in right direction
Ford (undisclosed) is trending in the right direction toward being available for the start of the 2026 season, according to John Wustrow of The Idaho Press.
Impact
Ford was ruled out for the rest of the 2025 season in late October after tallying 21 catches for 325 yards and five scores in seven appearances, with all those marks being career-best numbers for the wideout. While it's unclear whether the wideout will be ready for the start of the 2026 campaign, all signs point to him being ready to play in the first week of the 2026 season in a worst-case scenario. He figures to play a big role for the Broncos in 2026.

Maddux Madsen - Completely healthy for spring ball
Madsen (undisclosed) is completely healthy from any lingering ailments from the 2025 season, per Shaun Goodwin of the Idaho Statesman.
Impact
Madsen missed three games for Boise State last season between weeks 12-14, but returned for the Broncos' final two games of the season. He's coming off a solid season in which he tossed for 2,334 yards, 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions while completing 58.3 percent of his passes. He also ran for four touchdowns. Any lingering questions about his health have been answered, and he's good to go ahead of his fifth year of college football.

Sire Gaines - Splitting RB1 reps with Riley
Gaines will split the RB1 reps at Boise State's spring practice with Dylan Riley, per Shaun Goodwin of the Idaho Statesman.
Impact
Gaines amassed 883 total yards last season as Boise State's RB2 behind Dylan Riley, who ran for a 1,125 yards as the top ball-carrier for the Broncos. This is a two-headed monster in Boise State's backfield, and both ball-carriers will have a chance to take starting reps this spring. Both halfbacks should be staples of this offense come fall.

Dylan Riley - Slated to split reps in spring
Riley will split reps at RB1 with Sire Gaines in Boise State's spring practice period, per Shaun Goodwin of the Idaho Statesman.
Impact
Riley is coming off an electric season with the Broncos in which he ran for 1,125 yards and 10 touchdowns on 5.8 yards per carry, also reeling in 15 passes for 149 yards and two scores. Common sense would have Riley as the clear lead back for Boise State next season, but the Broncos are fortunate enough to have another extremely talented ball-carrier on the roster in Sire Gaines, who totaled 883 yards last fall as well. Both running backs should be plenty involved in 2026.

Harry Stewart III - Lands with Boise State
Stewart committed to Boise State, Michael Swain of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
After spending the last two seasons with Kansas, Stewart has found a new school via the portal in Boise State. He gained 127 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown on 26 touches last season and will hope to increase those numbers significantly with the Broncos. Boise State has a great history of highly productive backs, so if Stewart can make his way up the depth chart this could be an excellent move for him.

Chris Marshall - Nears 100 yards in defeat
Marshall caught 5 of 12 targets for 97 yards during Saturday's 38-10 loss versus Washington.
Impact
Marshall saw a season-high 12 targets in the blowout loss to Washington, and nearly managed to parlay that into 100 yard outing. It was a solid bow on what was a career year for the wideout; Marshall reeled in 30 catches for 574 yards and two touchdowns. He has one season of eligibility remaining.
