Latrell Caples - Suffers hard hit during Week 13 Caples suffered a hard hit that knocked him out cold during Saturday's 49-21 win against Colorado State, Shaun Goodwin of the Idaho Statesman reports.

Impact Caples' brutal hit caused him to be out as he hit the ground after a leap and necessitated a stretcher to come on the field. But according to Jay Tust of Bronco Studios just over 10 minutes later, Caples was seen out of Boise State's injury tent, up standing and talking to coaches as if his previous head problem was no longer an issue. Caples finished Week 13 with seven receptions (on 10 targets) for 70 yards.

Impact Each of Boise State's last two games has seen Cutforth barely log triple-digit yards. Even though Maddux Madsen (ankle) is out indefinitely, his current backup may not be the Broncos' long-term answer at quarterback. Boise State's team has not scored double-digit points since Madsen got hurt, leaving room for a better replacement under center. At least for now, Cutforth remains the Broncos' preferred QB1.

During the four-game span, Riley logged 54 rushing attempts for 330 yards, 6.1 averaged per carry.
