Alton McCaskill - Moderate showing in victory McCaskill (undisclosed) posted 14 carries for 46 yards and hauled in their only target for 12 yards during Saturday's 26-23 victory versus Delaware.
Impact McCaskill was previously listed as questionable for Saturday's contest due to an undisclosed injury but was able to give it a go against Delaware. The 6-foot-2 running back put up a respectable performance against the Blue Hens, totaling 46 yards on the ground while catching his only target for 12 yards through the air as well. His next chance to impress wil come against Middle Tennessee next week.

Darrick Bledsoe III - Quiet in return Bledsoe (undisclosed) gathered in 1 of 3 targets for 24 yards during Saturday's 26-23 victory versus Delaware.
Impact Bledsoe was previously listed as questionable for Saturday's contest after missing each of Sam Houston's previous four games due to an undisclosed injury, but he was able to suit up against Delaware. The 5-foot-9 receiver was overall held quiet on the day, catching a single pass for 24 yards against the Blue Hens. He will hope to get more involved against Middle Tennessee next week.

Grady O'Neill - Catches five passes O'Neill caught five passes on nine targets for 57 yards versus Delaware on Saturday.
Impact True freshman Landyn Locke was making his first start at quarterback. As such, it is notable that O'Neill saw season highs in receptions and targets.

Landan Brown - Gets bang for his buck Brown ran 10 times for 109 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 20 yards against Delaware on Saturday.
Impact It's hard to argue with a player turning 12 touches into that kind of production. That goes double given that Brown was responsible for Sam Houston's only touchdowns and it scored a upset win with a true freshman at quarterback.

Landyn Locke - Unremarkable first start Locke went 16-for-38 for 213 yards against Delaware on Saturday.
Impact It's not surprising that Locke got his first career start, given that Hunter Watson (knee) was hurt and Mabrey Mettauer has been horrendous. Now, the true freshman didn't do much of anything, but he didn't turn the ball over and Sam Houston won, and that's kind of enough with this team in 2025.

Kyre Duplessis - Quiet against easy opponent Duplessis caught two passes for seven yards Saturday against Sam Houston.
Impact This was a bad time for Duplessis to fade into the background. Sam Houston has a terrible defense, and Delaware lost a game that would have given it bowl eligibility. However, Duplessis was only targeted twice, so he perhaps doesn't deserve all the blame.

Sean Wilson - Over 100 yards again Wilson caught nine passes for 162 yards against Sam Houston on Saturday.
Impact Wilson has 48 catches through 10 games, and this is his third game in a row with over 100 receiving yards. The one quibble is that he only has two touchdowns, and they came in the same game.
