Dorian Thomas - Three receptions for 45 yards Thomas compiled three receptions (on six targets) for 45 yards during Saturday's 20-17 win over Colorado State.
Impact Despite zero touchdowns since Week 8, Thomas has proven to be one of college football's better tight ends in 2025. Since the aforementioned week, New Mexico's four-game span saw him log 14 receptions (on 19 targets) for 149 yards, 10.6 averaged per catch.

Keagan Johnson - Records 10 targets Johnson logged five receptions (on 10 targets) for 65 yards during Saturday's 20-17 win versus Colorado State.
Impact For the third time in 2025, Johnson logged double-digit targets. But unlike the first two games, he neither recorded a touchdown nor triple-digit yards. Only four more targets, and Johnson would tie a combined 83 targets he logged from 2023 to 2024 with Kansas State.

Damon Bankston - Serviceable during Week 12 Bankston logged nine rushes for 43 yards and caught all two targets for 16 yards during Saturday's 20-17 win over Colorado State.
Impact Among the Lobos' top running backs, Bankston is their most consistent option. Continually the team's RB2, he has benefited from said role to log 800 all-purpose yards and seven touchdowns. Statistically, moving from an FCS team to New Mexico has paid off for Bankston.

Jackson Brousseau - Attempts two more passes Brousseau (undisclosed) was 8-for-12 passing for 38 yards during Saturday's 20-17 loss against New Mexico.
Impact Brousseau did not start the second half of Colorado State's latest game. Yet, its second half did include him, as the quarterback logged two pass attempts for four yards. On the other hand, he could not maximize his statistical output, as Colorado State stuck with Darius Curry under center. Considering the latter logged three interceptions against New Mexico, Brousseau looks firmly in line to maintain his QB1 role.

Darius Curry - Two touchdowns, three interceptions Curry was 26-for-34 passing for 248 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions during Saturday's 20-17 defeat to New Mexico.
Impact Jackson Brousseau suffered a mid-game injury, which is why Curry recently updated his season highs in several stats. Despite logging multiple touchdowns for the first time in 2025, the same goes concerning turnovers. While he showed some promise, Curry still lacks polish, so it would be unsurprising if Colorado State's team reverts to Brousseau in Week 13.

Lloyd Avant - Improved volume during Week 12 Avant compiled 12 carries for 36 yards and hauled in 2 of 3 targets for 44 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 20-17 defeat versus New Mexico.
Impact For 2025, 12 is Avant's second-best number of rushing attempts. Out wide, he not only updated his season high in yards but also logged his ongoing campaign's first TD. Jalen Dupree no longer being part of Colorado State's team should benefit Avant, as the Rams will have to re-establish the top of their pecking order at running back.
NOVEMBER 16, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Jack Layne - Sufficient against Colorado State Layne was 13-for-25 passing for 226 yards during Saturday's 20-17 victory against Colorado State. He also had 10 rushes for 23 yards with one touchdown.
Impact Layne helped New Mexico scrape by arguably the Mountain West Conference's worst team this season. The quarterback has been relatively mistake-free since Week 8, with four games including a combined 4-1- TD-INT ratio and only one fumble, which he did not lose. For the Lobos' next game, they are scheduled to visit Air Force in Week 13.
