Impact DeLaurier was previously listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup due to an undisclosed injury, but he was able to suit up against the 49ers. The 6-foot-10 forward played just 11 minutes, indicating that he may have been limited on the day, but his presence on the floor is an encouraging sign moving forward. His next opportunity will come against Wichita State on Wednesday.

Isaiah Mbeng - Not part of starting lineup Mbeng is not part of the Pirates' starting lineup for their upcoming game Sunday against UNC-Charlotte.

Impact In place of Mbeng is Corey Caulker. Despite the former averaging 5.3 assists across his last three games and starts, he also averaged 4.3 points while shooting 22.7 percent from the field and 21.4 percent from deep, offensive leaving much left to be desired.

Impact Emejuru is one of the best center-eligible players in the country. He has eight double-doubles on the season and is just two rebounds shy of a five-game double-double streak. His exploits have not helped the pirates tally wins in the American (0-4). Emerjuru's field goal percentage (59.2 percent) and free throw percentage (63.3 percent) are converging.

The 6-5 senior had his first double-double and second 30-point game of the season. ECU takes on South Florida on Wednesday. Riley averaged 16.0 points in a split with the Bulls last season.

Impact Cason made his first start since Dec. 6. He had not played more than 19 minutes in his previous seven games, but set season standards in rebounds and blocks in the loss. The 6-10 sophomore may have earned more minutes going forward with his productive game.

Even if the Pirates continue to lose (and they have lost their last three games), Riley should put up big numbers.
