Jordan Riley - Goes off for 28 points Riley notched a season-high 28 points (9-17 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 6-8 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal over 39 minutes during Thursday's 67-58 loss to St. Bonaventure.

Impact Riley has been the Pirates' leading shot taker and came into the game leading the team with 17.4 points. He has scored at least 13 points in every game, but came into Thanksgiving struggling from long range. He had hit just 27.3 percent of his 3-pointers before scoring nearly half of ECU's points in the team's fifth straight loss. The 6-5 senior will try to help the team snap the streak next Tuesday against Maryland-Eastern Shore.

Impact In place of Caulker is Isaiah Mbeng, who has not been all that impressive but earned a promotion after the former's contribution in an upset loss to Charleston Southern on Friday. In five games this season, none of them off East Carolina's bench, Caulker has averaged 8.2 points, 3.2 assists and 2.2 rebounds. On the other hand, he also averaged 2.4 turnovers and shot 25.9 percent from the field.

It was the third game in which the 6-10 senior had accrued at least four fouls. He will have to be at his best to produce against Michigan State on Tuesday.

Impact It isn't a great sign that the Pirates had to eek out a win over a Division II school. It is, however, a continued great sign to see Emejuru produce. The 6-10 center is averaging 20.0 points and 10.7 rebounds, and now has consecutive double-doubles. Look for more production Tuesday against UNC-Wilmington.
