Trevion LaBeaux - Not playing Saturday LaBeaux is out for Saturday's game against George Mason due to an undisclosed injury, Stephen Igoe of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact The extent of the injury is unclear, but if it's not too serious, then LaBeaux could return as early as next week for the matchup against Jacksonville State on Oct. 21. He's averaging 3.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in three starts this season.

Impact Riley is coming off easily his best season yet. In 2023-2024, after spending two years at Georgetown, he averaged 11.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals - all of which were career highs. The guard also improved his shooting efficiency. This is a very solid pickup for the Pirates, and Riley figures to compete for playing time immediately.

RJ Felton - Declares for draft but may return Felton has decided to test the NBA waters while maintaining eligibility at East Carolina, per his announcement Monday.
Impact Felton finished his 2023-24 season with averages of 17.3 points (on 43.1/35.5/77.8 shooting splits), 6.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals across 33 starts. Feeling at least somewhat confident about his professional prospects, he will prepare for the NBA Draft to make that possibility a reality. But as a precautionary measure, Felton will take advantage of a rule that allows him to withdraw if turning pro seems too risky over re-enrolling at East Carolina for another year. There is plenty of time before he must make his decision, which may come around summer.
