Okay, Washington Redskins fans, I want to hear from you. In the comment section, Twitter, Facebook, email, anything.

Whats your opinion, who should be the quarterback for your Washington Redskins? You have four options I am going to give you, give me your pick and your opinion on who should be the starter.

Option No. 1:

Option No. 1 will be Kirk Cousins' vanilla quarterback play. He has had a shaky career since he was drafted behind RG3 in 2012. In his career he has posted a 61.1 completion percentage, while throwing for 3,745 yards with 21 touchdowns and 23 interceptions.

I know Cousins has never had a full 16 game season to show what he can do, but in his limited time you have a stat line with more interceptions than touchdowns. That's not something I want going forward for my team.

I compare Cousins to Luke McCown; he is a solid backup but he is not a starter.

Option No. 2:

Option No. 2 will be Robert Griffin III. We all the know the drama that surrounds him and the Washington Redskins organization. He won the 2012 Rookie of the Year, but after that everything has fallen to pieces for him and the organization. RG3 has a 63.3 completion percentage, for 8,097 with 40 touchdowns and 23 interceptions with 14 fumbles.

After RG3’s really good rookie performance, he has been injured every year since. That could have been a huge issue for RG3’s career, because I’m not going to say everything was his fault. Coaching definitely added to the drama of the RG3’s career.

I personally see RG3 as a starter in the NFL still, in a read option system. I just don’t see him being productive as a Washington Redskin anymore, because they’ll never go back to the read option system for RG3 to excel.

Option No. 3:

Option No. 3 will be Colt McCoy. McCoy was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the 3rd round in 2010. He started his first two years of his career, then he became a back up for the Browns and the 49ers. Last season he had a handful of starts for the Redskins, with his most memorable game where he beat the Cowboys in Dallas.

McCoy has a 60.3 completion percentage, for 5,458 with 25 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. Another unimpressive stat line for a Washington Redskins quarterback.

In my opinion Colt McCoy shouldn’t be a starting quarterback in the NFL, he is a very good backup just like Kirk Cousins.

Option No. 4:

Option No. 4 for the Washington Redskins will be to scrap this whole season and look for a new starting quarterback in the 2016 NFL draft. A new face of the franchise may be best thing for this organization.

The Redskins have been plagued with controversy ever since RG3 has been drafted. It was either caused by him, the head coaches, or the owner of the teams wife doing something she shouldn’t have been doing.

So what are your thoughts on the quarterback situation for the Redskins in 2015 and moving forward to 2016 and beyond?
