Watch Larry Fitzgerald struggling to stay upright in first time ever on ice skates

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald recently revealed that he would return for a 14th NFL season in 2017 after mulling retirement in January. The veteran wideout also decided the other day it was time to try lacing up some other footwear for the very first time: a pair of ice skates.

Check out Fitzgerald with Arizona Coyotes captain Shane Doan and teammates during a Monday skate-around. Fitz isn't particularly deft on his feet, but for a first-timer, it's impressive -- especially his ability to shoot without falling over.

"I'm a one-sport athlete that is attempting to try something new," Fitzgerald said. "It was a lot more difficult than I imagined ... the hardest part was just staying on my skates."
