Grigor Dimitrov wins today’s good guy award.

The rising tennis star — who just so happens to be dating Maria Sharapova — took a timeout during his third-round match Sunday at the Sony Open against Kei Nishikori when he realized one of the ballgirls was struggling with the oppressive weather.

Dimitrov walked back to get a towel when he noticed something was awry with the young lady, then escorted her off the court to lie down and receive treatment.

Sunday’s weather in the Miami area approached 90-degree temperatures with humidity soaring over 60 percent in the late afternoon and early evening.

Despite the chivalry, Dimitrov lost the match 7-6 (1), 7-5.

It’s been a good weekend for nice gestures from sports figures. Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski personally congratulated the Mercer Bears team after the Blue Devils’ surprising loss in the NCAA tournament. Chicago Bears defensive back Charles Tillman made the day for a little girl battling neuroblastoma. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson gave a father-less child a thrill.
