Dolph Ziggler to Face Unknown WWE Raw Star at Survivor Series 2016

Dolph Ziggler has announced that he wants to face a Raw Superstar for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series.

Dolph Ziggler nearly lost his WWE career at No Mercy. He put it on the line for The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship and ended up coming out successful. It turned out to be a great match, which gained Ziggler some momentum back, plus earning a title in the process. He has remained the champion since.

On Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan and Miz had a confrontation over the Survivor Series teams. This eventually led to Ziggler coming out after The A-lister declining his title opportunity got brought up.

After showing up in the ring, The Showoff would put his Intercontinental Title on the line in an open challenge. Curt Hawkins would answer, get beaten with one superkick, and proceed on.

However, Ziggler wouldn’t be done. He then went on to issue another open challenge, except for Survivor Series. He wants it to be against any Raw Superstar that is willing to step up.

This opens up an interesting scenario since the Raw roster is fairly large, especially with the cruiserweights involved. While having one of them challenge seems unlikely, it can’t be ruled out. Just ask Cedric Alexander.

On the November 7 episode of Raw, we could find out who decides to face Ziggler at Survivor Series. With their 5-on-5 teams being set for the PPV, there will be a handful of stars being the odd ones out. Any of them could then be potential challengers for the Intercontinental Championship, which would be the second singles match of the evening.

Who do you think should face Dolph Ziggler at Survivor Series?
