ATLANTA (AP) Elizabeth Williams had her first-career double-double and added a career-high five assists to help the Atlanta Dream beat the Connecticut Sun 93-87 on Sunday.

Williams finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds, Layshia Clarendon scored 19 with a career-best nine assists, and Angel McCoughtry added 17 points and four steals for the Dream (7-3).

The Sun trimmed their deficit to 84-82 with 1:55 remaining, but Williams responded with a turnaround jumper - on the feed from Clarendon - from the right block and Atlanta made 5 of 6 free-throw attempts in the final 26 seconds to seal it.

Atlanta, ranked third in the AP WNBA Power Poll, shot 51.4 percent (37 of 72) from the field and snapped a two-game skid.
