UFC 193 to take place in Melbourne's giant Etihad Stadium
We already knew that UFC 193 was headed for Melbourne, Australia, on Nov. 14 and that the card was shaping up to be a stacked one. Now, that stacked card has a venue.
UFC president Dana White tweeted Wednesday that UFC 193 will take place in the giant Etihad Stadium. The Melbourne arena usually seats over 53,000 people, but the UFC will set up floor seats in the hopes of fitting 70,000 fans into the stadium.

The Aussie fans who will doubtless fill the arena are in for a treat. Headlining the pay-per-view is UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler defending his belt against former titleholder Carlos Condit.
Also, adopted Aussie Mark Hunt will rematch Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva. The two heavyweights engaged in one of the best big-men fights of all time, in 2013, which resulted in a draw.
Also, British superstar Michael Bisping is also targeted to fight Robert Whittaker on the undercard. Tickets are not yet on sale but fans can sign up for a pre-sale, here.
