UFC 190 Embedded: Ronda and Bethe in Brazil
We love the mini-documentary UFC Embedded shows. A lot.
Why? Well, simply because they give intimate, behind-the-scenes looks into the training camps and lives of some of our (and your) favorite fighters. This weekend we've got another huge UFC event, and the UFC Embedded crew has already been busy getting you the low-down on everything leading up to it.
Saturday's UFC 190 pay-per-view event comes to us from Brazil and is packed with stars. None of them are bigger than UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, however.
In episode one of UFC 190: Embedded, which was released Monday afternoon, Rousey talks about the "emotional roller-coaster," of fighting, and how it is all worth it. "The journey is awesome, but the payoff is amazing," she says.
Rousey's outspoken and undefeated challenger, Bethe Correia gets a home-game as a native Brazilian. In episode one, we see her get in a beach workout, and watch her unwind at home where she talks about her championship fight as a vie to "defend Brazil — defend my country."
With stakes like that, it is little wonder the atmosphere around UFC 190 has already been so charged. Watch the first episode above, and stick with us all week for the rest of them, as well as complete UFC 190 coverage!
