In an ideal world, Ronda Rousey vs. Sara McMann would have waited another year or so, giving McMann a chance to gain more experience and cut the gap against the women's bantamweight champion. That said, she has plenty of talent and natural athleticism to go with her world-level wrestling skills and fearlessness, and that's a dangerous combination.
At UFC 170, McMann may be able to do something no one else has done against Rousey and determine where the fight takes place. Don't be surprised, however, if she tries to make it a standup fight instead of tempting fate in the form of Rousey's 1,000 armbar setups. How successful she is in that quest may determine her upset possibilities.
