Detectives are questioning an English Premier League youth team soccer player on suspicion of murder.

Stoke City Football Club teenager Andrew Hall was arrested after a 15-year-old girl was found dead at a house party in Ampthill, central England, on Saturday morning.

Hall played for Stoke City's under-18s team last season and is in custody being questioned by detectives.

Megan-Leigh Peat died from her injuries after paramedics and police were called to the house at 1:30am local time Saturday.

Police have since been carrying out forensic searches of the property.

Flowers were left outside the home, and blood spots could be seen on the sidewalk outside.

Bedfordshire Police officers are still building a picture of exactly what led up the teenage girl's death.
