Adriano Correia has completed a move from Sevilla to Barcelona, signing a four-year deal with the Catalan club.
The 25-year-old Brazilian, who plays in defense and midfield, signed the contract Saturday alongside Barcelona president Sandro Rosell. The deal has an optional one-year extension.
Barcelona said it will pay an initial 9 million euros ($11.6 million) for the player with the fee rising to a possible 13.5 million ($17.5 million).
