Senderos to keep on pushing

The 26-year-old made his first appearance for Mark Hughes' side in the 3-0 victory at Sunderland at the end of April, 11 months after joining from Arsenal. Senderos says he has now fully recovered from the Achilles injury picked up shortly after joining Fulham, but believes it will be tough to usurp first-choice defensive partnership Brede Hangeland and Aaron Hughes in the starting XI. "Here at Fulham I have a very good and experienced partnership in front of me," he told the club's official website. "The team defends really well, you can see that we don't concede many goals. "I will have to keep pushing and see if I can offer something different. I'm happy to have at least contributed this season and hopefully I can build on it next season."
