Having signed six new players this summer, McDermott now has at least two players for every position ahead of the Royals' return to the top-flight. He told Sky Sports News: "The new players are settling in really well and we're delighted. We tried to get everything done early, we finished last season early and we're very very happy with what we've done." Asked about making more signings he said, "We're not overly looking now. "We've got two in each position, if something comes up later that we feel is good for us we might do something. "And there's nothing needed in terms of people leaving, we might loan one or two of the younger ones out."
