Rossi dreams of Barca switch
Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi has admitted it would be a "dream" to play for Barcelona after being linked with a move to the Nou Camp.
Rossi, 24, has been strongly linked with the Primera Liga champions and Villarreal are said to be willing to sell their star man for around 30million euros (£26m).
Rossi, who joined from Manchester United in the summer of 2007, scored a 18 league goals for Villarreal this season and would love to try his luck with the Catalans.
"Playing at Barcelona is every player's dream as they are the best team in the world," the Italy international told Catalunya radio station.
"They play pure football with quick passing and win a lot of titles, which every player wants to do."
Villarreal manager Juan Carlos Garrido accepts the club will struggle to hold on to the player this summer - even though he is contracted until 2016.
"It is logical that Rossi is on the wish list of the big clubs because he is a real star," said Garrido.
"I would understand it if the club accepted his departure if a big offer came in."
