Porto president Pinto da Costa insists he has no intention of parting with star striker Hulk this summer.
The Brazilian striker continues to generate transfer speculation despite recently penning a new five-year contract at the club.
He has always insisted that he plans to stay in Portugal for the foreseeable future, having initially arrived at Estadio do Dragao in 2008.
That show of faith has convinced Porto that it would be in their best interests to retain the 24-year-old's services.
Keen to block any potential transfer route to outsiders, the Portuguese champions have acquired another 40 per cent of Hulk's sporting rights from Uruguayan club Atletico Rentistas, taking their total stake to 85%.
Da Costa believes another outlay of some £11million proves how committed they are to the Samba star and has warned that any side planning a bid this summer would be wasting their time.
He said: "If we decide to purchase another 40% of Hulk's rights, that means we intend for him to stay at our club.
"It is our intention to improve the standard of the squad for next season and to offer even more satisfaction to our fans."
Reports have suggested that Hulk is attracting interest from Manchester City and AC Milan.
They have, however, been made aware that his buy-out clause stands at €100 million (£87million)
