Andrea Pirlo has given AC Milan an injury scare ahead of Tuesday evening's Champions League clash with Tottenham.
The midfielder had been expected to make his return from a spell on the sidelines in Saturday's Serie A match against Parma.
However, he broke down in training on Friday after twisting his knee and it remains to be seen whether he will have recovered in time to face Spurs.
Milan confirmed on their official website that the extent of the damage would be assessed over the weekend.

There was better news for Milan when fit-again centre backs Alessandro Nesta and Nicola Legrottaglie were included in the squad to meet Parma.
