O'Hara made a telling impact after his switch from White Hart Lane in January but then suffered a loss in form. McCarthy spoke with O'Hara after the defeat at Stoke last month and has received a positive response. He said: "He turned in a poor performance at Stoke and we did have a couple of words about that. "But since then Jamie has been terrific. He's a good footballer who hit a real peak when he came here after a long spell out injured. "He then dipped a bit but has played really well the last three games."
