Hitz plays down Irons row
Green and Noble had an argument following Bolton's opening goal at the Reebok Stadium. The bust-up summed up a disappointing day for the Hammers but Hitzlsperger claims the argument was falling-out immediately after the game. "I didn't know exactly what was happening but I could see they had an argument," Hitzlsperger told the Daily Star. "In the dressing room they shook hands though and it's sorted out. "We can't afford arguments going on after the game so that's a good thing. The game is over and we can't do anything about it now." West Ham remain in the drop zone with just six games left in the season and Hitzlsperger admits they cannot afford a repeat of their performance at Bolton if they are to stay up. "We know all of those kind of things and now we've got six really big games coming up. "I'm sure we won't play like this again, especially not next week. "That's what we need to focus on now. "We can't predict whether we stay up or go down but if we play like today then it's going to be tough."
