Edinson Cavani has insisted he is happy at Paris St Germain, despite speculation linking with the Uruguayan with a move away from the Ligue 1 champions.

The striker had voiced his frustration last season as he was used more sparingly in support of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and is reportedly a transfer target for Premier League clubs, including Arsenal.

But the 27-year-old forward, who has featured more regularly for PSG this season, told Uruguayan radio station AM1010 his problems in Paris were in the past.

"This year everything is fine," he said in comments reported by L'Equipe. "I am in Paris, the city is beautiful and the club supports me."

Regarding his earlier complaints, he said: "These comments caused some problems, but they were not against the coach, the president or anyone else. I expressed my frustration, but that didn't mean I had a bad relationship with any of them.

"Sometimes these things can lead to a problem, but other times to a solution. We found a solution."

Cavani has scored six goals in 14 appearances in all competitions for PSG this season.
