Team news ahead of Saturday's League Two clash between Gillingham and Bristol Rovers at Priestfield.

David Wright boosts a fully-fit Gillingham squad for the home clash.

Versatile midfielder Wright arrived on Wednesday from Crystal Palace on a month-long loan deal and goes straight into contention for his debut.

However, manager Martin Allen may be reluctant to make changes after last weekend's 3-1 win at Barnet continued the table-toppers' unbeaten start to the league season.

Jack Payne, Myles Weston, Danny Kedwell and Matt Fish all recovered in time from injury and illness to feature at Underhill.

While the Gills have enjoyed a superb start to the campaign, winless opponents Bristol Rovers are struggling near the foot of the League Two table having claimed just two draws from their opening four matches.

Bristol Rovers manager Mark McGhee will be without defender Cian Bolger.

Bolger suffered cruciate ligament damage during last weekend's draw against Aldershot and will be out for up to three months.

"It is dreadful news about Cian, we are all devastated. The boy has come here, played a couple of games, and I think he has been outstanding, and now he is injured," McGhee told the club's official website.

Summer signing Garry Kenneth has an outside chance of making his debut for the Pirates.

The 25-year-old is yet to make his first appearance for the club since joining from Dundee in the summer. McGhee believes he is getting closer but the weekend may come just a little too soon.

Seanan Clucas and Matt Lund are both available again after international duty with the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad.
