Finland edges Azerbaijan 1-0 in WCup qualifier

Mikael Forssell converted a second-half penalty kick to give Finland a 1-0 victory against Azerbaijan in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday.

Central defender Sami Hyypia was brought down following a corner kick and Forssell scored from the spot in the 62nd with a well-struck shot in the upper corner.
