The Cottagers reportedly offered 12million euros (£10.4m) for the Argentina-born striker, a fee well short of the club's valuation. Espanyol have labelled the offer as 'unsatisfactory' as they are thought to want at least €20m (£17.5m) to part with his services. The Barcelona-based club are suffering financially, although they are not looking to part company with Osvaldo on the cheap. The striker's agent Dario Decoud says his client is happy at Espanyol, but a big offer would change his opinion and perspective. "Osvaldo is happy with Espanyol. Only a big offer could change his mind," explained Decoud. Reports in Spain are also intimating that Tottenham are ready to join the hunt for the striker and table a 15million euros (£13m) bid.
