American forward Eddie Johnson scored twice to give Aris a 2-0 home win over Olympiakos on Wednesday in the Greek league playoffs for next season's European competitions.

Bidding for an invitation to the U.S. pre-World Cup training camp month, Johnson headed home a cross from fellow American Freddy Adu in the 39th minute and scored off a defensive error seconds before the final whistle.

Johnson is on loan from England's Fulham and Adu from Portugal's Benfica.

In the other game, AEK and PAOK tied 0-0.
