Atalanta extends coach Colantuono's contract
Atalanta has extended coach Stefano Colantuono's contract until June 2016.
Colantuono returned for his second spell in charge of Atalanta in June 2010 and took the club back to the top flight as Serie B winners in his first season.
Atalanta lies 12th in the Serie A.
Colantuono's contract was set to expire in June 2014 but the club announced the new deal on Friday.
Colantuono also coached Atalanta in 2005-2007, leading it to promotion from Serie B before achieving a record points total in Serie A the following season.
The 50-year-old bettered that record in 2011-2012.
