Denis Stracqualursi has become the first Argentine player to sign for Everton after joining the Premier League team on loan for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old striker joins from Tigres, where he was the joint top scorer in the Argentine Apertura last season with 11 goals in 19 games.
He will provide some much-needed competition in attack at Everton, with manager David Moyes having been heavily reliant on injury-prone France striker Louis Saha and Jermaine Beckford.
