British police says two men have been arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred after allegedly anti-Semitic messages were posted on Twitter relating to a Premier League match.
The Metropolitan Police says the tweets after the Tottenham-West Ham London derby in October made reference to Adolf Hitler and gas chambers.
Tottenham has traditionally drawn a large fan base from the Jewish communities in London, and supporters have faced anti-Semitic abuse.
Police warned West Ham fans before the match they were clamping down on such abuse.
