Mitch Strohman is the longtime voice of the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, but he was left nearly voiceless in describing the final moments of NAU's 28-27 victory over Eastern Washington on Saturday in Flagstaff.

To set the stage: Eastern Washington had won 14 consecutive games against Big Sky Conference competition and was ranked No. 2 in the FCS rankings. The Eagles led 27-22, and NAU was trying to rally behind junior quarterback Jordan Perry, who began the season as NAU's third-team quarterback, had thrown only one pass all season and was playing because starter Chase Cartwright had been injured late in the game. Against those odds, Perry directed the Lumberjacks on a three-play, 77-yard drive and completed a game-winning touchdown pass with 12 seconds to play.
