MINNEAPOLIS -- The one All-Star on the Timberwolves' roster will be here at least another 10 days.

The team signed point guard Lorenzo Brown to a second 10-day contract, it was announced Friday. He signed his first one Jan. 28.

Earlier this week, Brown was named to the NBA Development League All-Star Game. He'd spent most of this season with the D-League's Grand Rapids Drive.

In need of some backcourt depth while Ricky Rubio finished his recovery from an ankle sprain, the Wolves inked Brown, whom they drafted 52nd overall in 2013 and waived later that year. Brown has appeared in four games with Minnesota this season, averaging four points, 3.8 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 24.3 minutes per game. He played 47 minutes, 55 seconds Saturday against Cleveland in his only start of the season.

Brown played 26 games for the 76ers last season after spending training camp with the Wolves.

He won't be able to play in the Feb. 15 D-League All-Star Game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn unless the Wolves re-assign him to the D-League. With Rubio, Mo Williams and Zach LaVine all healthy, though, that's not out of the realm of possibility.
