Anderson Varejao, fresh off the announcement that he will have to undergo knee surgery, has sent a message to his fans via Twitter.
Varejao, a native of Brazil, Tweeted in Portuguese, then in English. Here is his message;
"I will need to go through another surgery. Unfortunately, it must happen though it is not easy. It is tough having to go through...it all again, it is a difficult time for my family and friends. I was having a great season and being able to help the Cavs, but this...this injury will keep me away from the team for a few more weeks. I want to thank all the fans for the supportive messages, for the love...you always showed me and for all the support given me during the times i've been injured, you always stood by my side...I want to be back as soon as possible"
