One: The Blue Jackets came out from the drop of the puck and dictated the pace and possession of the game, continuing the good, sound work they did on Saturday in Tampa. The Flyers tried to counter with hits but were a step slow in connecting in a timely fashion.

Two: They kept the pressure on the Flyers, who had a hard time keeping the puck in the Blue Jackets zone. They ended the night with 43 hits to the Flyers 29, as the visitors seemed to stop hitting midway through the second.

Three: This was definitely a continuation of the good play they started on the last road trip. The relaxed focus they had in the morning skate carried over to the game, even when the Flyers scored a late goal in the third period to tie the score and force overtime. They continued their strong play with defenseman Kevin Connauton scoring his first goal as a Blue Jacket.
