A drunken Green Bay Packers fan who became a national story when she attacked her husband and choked her 11-year-old daughter following the team's only regular-season loss of last season is going to jail.

According to the Post-Crescent of Appleton, Lisa M. Low, a 36-year-old Appleton, Wis., resident, was given a six-month sentence Thursday in Outagamie County court as part of a three-year probation for child abuse, bail jumping and disorderly conduct. According to sheriff's department records, she was booked into Outagamie County jail at 11:50 a.m. Thursday.

Police were called to a Grand Chute, Wis., hotel roughly five hours after the Packers' Dec. 18 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs ended Green Bay's chance at a perfect season. According to the criminal complaint (via the Post-Crescent), Low became upset because the team was losing and choked her daughter. The girl said in the complaint that after the team lost, her mother choked her again with enough force that she couldn't breathe and asked, "Do you want to die?"

During the game, Low reportedly tried to punch her husband in the face, threw her dinner on the floor and broke a lamp. The Post-Crescent reports that Low has five drunken-driving convictions.

After 90 days, Low reportedly will be granted release from jail to attend treatment for alcoholism.
