REPLAY The Ultimate Fighter Finale weigh-in results (UPDATED)
The first ever UFC women's strawweight champion will be crowned following Carla Esparza and Rose Namajunas weighing in and making the mark for their title bout main event on Friday in Las Vegas.
Esparza entered the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter as the No. 1 overall seed and former Invicta FC champion while Namajunas made a very quick rise up the ranks with three straight wins on the show, finishing all of her fights by submission.
In addition to the title fight, seven more bouts will take place in the women's strawweight division. Featherweights Jeremy Stephens and Charles Oliveira will also throw down in a potentially explosive co-main event.
Oliveira missed weight on his first attempt coming in at 147 pounds.
The only other fighter to miss weight was Ultimate Fighter veteran Aisling Daly, who came in at 118 pounds for her fight against Alex Chambers.
Both fighters have one hour to cut the additional weight or face penalties for missing weight.
UPDATE:
Charles Oliveira was only able to cut to 146.5, which is still a half-pound over weight and he will not attempt again. He will be fined 10-percent of his purse.
Aisling Daly did not attempt to make weight again and will be fined 20-percent of her purse.
The difference in the fines is based upon the amount of weight missed -- Oliveira was only ultimately a half-pound over while Daly was a full two pounds over the limit. Both fights will go on as scheduled.
